More Than a Pour: On Being a Mom in Beer, Wine, and Spirits

Working as a brand ambassador in the beer, wine, and spirits industry has given me incredible opportunities; to connect with people from all walks of life, to learn the craft, and to show up again and again in a predominantly male space.

But the best part has surely been finding other women in the industry. Moms who crush a late-night event and wake up early the next morning to pack lunch boxes and backpacks. Women who pour with confidence while navigating the same unspoken questions: Do I belong here? Can I do both? Those connections reminded me I wasn't alone, and that visibility matters.

When women, especially mothers, are seen leading, pouring, and owning their expertise, it changes expectations. It tells the next woman walking in that she’s not lost.

She’s exactly where she belongs.

So here’s to showing up, supporting each other, and making our place in this industry feel less like an exception and more like the norm.

That’s something to raise a glass to.
